In this video brother David Wood looks at some of the strong evidence that we find in the Word of God for the doctrine of the Trinity in just minutes. Even the Old Testament itself prophesies of the full Deity of the coming Messiah. He is the Mighty God who was to be born as a son (Isaiah 9:6). Jehovah is called "Mighty God" in the next chapter (Isaiah 10:21). Jesus is "God with us" (Isaiah 7:14). God Himself even promised to come suddenly to His temple as the messenger of the covenant (Malachi 3:1) and His way is prepared by John the Baptist (Isaiah 40:3). These two verses are applied to Jesus at Mark 1:1-3. Even Zechariah 12:10 where Jehovah is "pierced" is quoted and applied to Jesus in John 19:37 and Revelation 1:7. October 10th, 2018 Secular science teaches that the Earth is 4.6 billion years old, but the Biblical genealogy contains dates that only allow for an age of just over 6000 years. This presentation will summarize the Biblical age of the creation and why this issue is important for Bible believers. Numerous physical measurements will then be illustrated, which argue conclusively that the Earth simply cannot be billions of years old. When scientific findings are interpreted within the Biblical worldview, we find there is proof of a recent creation and the flood of Noah.
About the Speaker: Chris Ashcraft is a Christian educator employed as high school science teacher at Cedar Park Christian Schools. Chris has also worked in plant biotechnology. He was a research technician at the Cotton Fiber Production Laboratory at Texas Tech University, then at the Plant Transformation Facility at Oklahoma State University, and lastly was the Plant Transformation Specialist for EDEN Bioscience in Bothell Washington. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wayland Baptist University in 1989, a Master of Science in biology from Texas Tech University in 1996, a Master of Education from the University of Washington in 2008, and a Master is Teaching Math and Science from Seattle Pacific University in 2012. Chris moved from research science into the teaching profession to serve God in Christian education. His decision was motivated by the impact that secular science is having on people of faith. Today, close to 50% of Christian students lose their belief in God while attending secular schools. This tendency could be lessened if the Church was better equipped to defend the authority of Biblical teachings (1 Peter 3:15). To be prepared for these challenges, it is important that Churches provide regular educational programs on creation and other Bible apologetics.

The more I think about evolution, the more I realise how improbable it is. Science is telling us that evolution is virtually impossible. We were designed by an intelligent creator. Dr Stephen C. Meyer is director of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture and a founder both of the intelligent design movement. Dr. Meyer is a Cambridge University-trained philosopher of science, the author of peer-reviewed publications in technical, scientific, philosophical and other books and journals. His signal contribution to ID theory is given most fully in Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design, published by HarperOne in June 2009. Meyer earned his Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from Cambridge University for a dissertation on the history of origin of life biology and the methodology of the historical sciences. The Intelligent Design of Molecular Machines in the Cell: ATP Synthase is a molecular machine found in many living organisms. It serves as a miniature power-generator, producing an energy-carrying molecule, adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. The ATP synthase machine has many parts we recognize from human-designed technology, including a rotor, a stator, a camshaft or driveshaft, and other basic components of a rotary engine. This machine is just the final step in a long and complex metabolic pathway involving numerous enzymes and other molecules—all so the cell can produce ATP to power biochemical reactions, and provide energy for other molecular machines in the cell.
